Straighten Your Smile Without the Metal

Invisalign is the world's most popular clear aligner system — and for good reason. Using a series of custom-made, virtually invisible plastic aligners, Invisalign gradually moves your teeth into their ideal positions without the brackets, wires, or dietary restrictions of traditional braces.

At Stephen A. Rodgers, DMD Family Dentistry, we are proud to offer Invisalign treatment to teens and adults in Woodinville and the surrounding communities. Whether you are dealing with crowding, spacing, or bite issues, Dr. Rodgers will work with you to create a personalized treatment plan designed to give you the confident, beautiful smile you deserve.

Why Choose Invisalign?

Nearly Invisible

The clear aligners are virtually undetectable, so most people will never know you are straightening your teeth.

Removable

Take your aligners out to eat, drink, brush, and floss — no food restrictions and no special cleaning tools required.

Comfortable

Smooth plastic aligners with no metal brackets or wires means less irritation to your cheeks and gums.

Predictable Results

Advanced 3D imaging lets you see a virtual preview of your final smile before treatment even begins.

Fewer Office Visits

Check-in appointments are typically shorter and less frequent than traditional orthodontic visits.

Effective for Many Cases

Invisalign can treat crowding, spacing, overbite, underbite, crossbite, and open bite in teens and adults.

How Invisalign Works

1

Consultation

Dr. Rodgers evaluates your teeth and bite, discusses your goals, and determines whether Invisalign is the right fit for you.

2

3D Smile Preview

We take digital impressions of your teeth and use Invisalign's ClinCheck® software to map out your complete treatment plan — including a preview of your final smile.

3

Custom Aligners Fabricated

Your series of custom-made aligners is manufactured and shipped to our office. Each set is precision-crafted to move your teeth in small, controlled increments.

4

Wear & Progress

You wear each set of aligners for about one to two weeks, 20–22 hours per day, then move on to the next set. You visit us every six to eight weeks so Dr. Rodgers can monitor your progress.

5

Enjoy Your New Smile

Once treatment is complete, we provide retainers to maintain your results. Most patients are thrilled with their new smile — and the confidence that comes with it.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does Invisalign treatment take?

Treatment time varies depending on the complexity of your case. Most adults complete treatment in 12 to 18 months, though some cases may be shorter or longer. Dr. Rodgers will give you a personalized estimate during your consultation.

How many hours a day do I need to wear my aligners?

For best results, aligners should be worn 20 to 22 hours per day. They should only be removed for eating, drinking anything other than water, and your oral hygiene routine.

Does Invisalign hurt?

Most patients experience mild pressure or discomfort for the first day or two after switching to a new set of aligners. This is normal and indicates the aligners are working. The discomfort is typically much less than what patients experience with traditional braces.

How much does Invisalign cost?

The cost of Invisalign varies depending on the complexity and length of your treatment. Many dental insurance plans that cover orthodontics will contribute toward Invisalign. We also offer CareCredit financing. Contact our office for a personalized cost estimate.

Can I eat and drink with my aligners in?

You should remove your aligners before eating or drinking anything other than plain water. This protects the aligners from staining and damage, and prevents food from getting trapped against your teeth.
